We study literature to understand and appreciate literary works and to understand culture, society and the era in which literary works were written.

Databases that provide access to articles from magazines and newspapers are available from the library's 'Online Resources' page. You can also find directions on how to use these databases from off campus

How to Access Databases from Off Campus

Access to our databases is available from your home computer providing you are a currently enrolled student, faculty or staff member at MCCC.

STUDENTS:
Username: MCCC e-mail account (everything before @ symbol)
Password: Last name
 
Select Student radio button.

MERCERMAIL LOGIN NAME
Existing Students (Spring 2013 and earlier)
     [Your Last Name][First Name Initial]
     EXAMPLE:  Ann Greengold = greengolda
New Students (Summer 2013 and after)
     First Name.Last Name
     EXAMPLE:  Ann Greengold = ann.greengold
Students with identical names will have a number added to their e-mail address name. Log in to your student portal to ensure that you are using
