Radiography: Databases & Ebook Collections

Getting to the Databases

Google MCCC library, and click on Library Services

Then the library website will open, under quick links, choose A-Z Databases, or Databases by Subject and click on the database you wish to use

From the A-Z list, I pressed on ProQuest Central, sometimes it will open right away, and sometimes you will be asked to authenticate, this always occurs the first time you open a database off campus, here is what that dialog box will look like

Once you've entered your My Mercer Portal username and your 6 digit birthday for the pass word, it will take you to the selected database.

Username: The same as for your MyMercer student account, likely in the format of firstname.lastname [NOTE:Do not use your student email address]

Password: Your 6 digit birth date in the form MMDDYY. For example, if your birthday is May 19, 2002 use 051902

I chose ProQuest Central from the A-Z list.

And now you're ready to do your research.

Medical, Health, and Nursing Databases

These databases (as well as others), contained in the Health Sciences section of the MCCC Library's database page, can be useful. Click on each database title for a direct link to the database (you will need to log in when off of the college's campus):
